BALEARIC ISLANDS CREATIVE SIGHTSEEING & ACTIVITIES

Floating serenely in the glittering Mediterranean are the Balearic Islands of Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera.

Mallorca with it’s spectacular mountain scenery where majestic limestone cliffs plunge into the translucent sapphire and turquoise-hued waters of the Mediterranean.  Vast plains carpeted with almonds, carobs, olives and vineyards that stretch luxuriantly across the interior.  Ibiza, the island that gave birth to the European rave is also mixed with World Heritage Site architecture, rich sea life, coastal walking trails, woods and quiet deserted beaches.  Menorca a haven of tranquility and UNESCO declared Biosphere Reserve; splendidly isolated beaches and coves and prehistoric monuments.  Formentera, a tiny chill out island of gentle and bewitching beauty with exquisite beaches fringed with jagged cliffs.

The islands have managed to maintain much of their intrinsic beauty; Gothic cathedrals, Stone Age ruins, fishing villages, spectacular walks, secluded coves, endless olive and almond groves and citrus orchards.
